The EHL NH Avalanche is proud to announce that forward Thomas Sansone has chosen to continue his athletic and academic career at Albertus Magnus College.  Albertus Magnus is a brand new NCAA Div III College Hockey program located in New Haven, CT and will begin play in 2019-20.  The Falcons will play their home games at the Ralph Walker Skating Rink and their first Head Coach is Kyle Wallack who has coached Div I College Hockey for the past 19 seasons.  Sansone is in his first season in the EHL and currently has 13pts in 13gp for the Avalanche.  The speedy winger was hampered right before the holiday break with an injury and has been cleared to join the Avalanche this coming weekend.  "I am very happy for Thomas he came to us and needed to put some time in on and off the ice.  He had to get some college courses done and change some things that no other programs helped him focus on to improve.  It was a little bit of an uphill battle for him but he has really come a long way.  He has really earned this opportunity and I could not be more proud of him.  Sansone can skate and get around the sheet I think if he continues to believe in himself and be a complete player he is going to be a good addition to something new and exciting at Albertus.  I wish him nothing but the best of luck and look forward to coaching him the rest of the season," said Chris Cerrella.  Sansone is looking forward to helping the Avalanche defend their EHL title in the second half of the season.  He is very happy about his decision to play for the Avs in the EHL and is happy with his opportunity at Albertus next fall.  "I first want to start by saying thank you to my family members for everything they have done for me and all the support they have shown.  I also want to say thank you to the NH Avalanche organization, Coach Cerrella, Asst Coach Martiniello and my teammates for pushing me to work hard on and off the ice.  Lastly I wanted to thank Coach Wallack and his staff at Albertus Magnus for the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing Ncaa college hockey and be part of the Albertus academic community, " said the North Massapequa, NY native.  With right around 20 games remaining in the EHL season Sansone and the Avs have one common goal.. DEFENDING THE EHL TITLE.
