COACH CERRELLA WINS EHL COACH OF THE YEAR

The NH Avalanche is proud to announce that veteran Head Coach Chris Cerrella has been selected as Coach of the Year for the Eastern Hockey League.  With over 350 wins in his junior coaching career and over 160 NCAA College placements to his name Cerrella takes the first year junior program to a 39-7-4 record and an amazing 18 plus NCAA College Hockey.  "It is a really nice honor that I made a positive impression on my peers.  There is some really great coaches in the EHL that is for sure and I am honored that I was selected as coach of the year. I want to thank my players, this has been a special season and I owe it to them.  They are the ones it is really all about, thank you to my BOYS, I appreciate you.  Thank you to the Martiniello family for opening up their arms to our family and welcoming us to NH it has been great.  I wanted to make a special thank you to my wife Sarah for always supporting the coaches lifestyle and always being there, you are the greatest for everything that you do to keep our family going.  I also wanted to send a BIG thank you to my 5 children Kyle (the cheese), CJ, Aiden, Rosalia and Vera you are all my bright stars thank you for always coming to the rink," said Cerrella.  Cerrella and the Jr Avs will head to the EHL Final Four this weekend for a chance at the EHL Championship.
