The EHL NH Jr Avalanche is proud to announce their 17th College Commitment of the season.  Veteran forward Justin Hess has chosen Nazareth College to continue his academic and athletic career.  Nazareth is located in Rochester, NY  and is in the UCHC Div III Hockey Conference.  The Golden Flyers play their home games at the Bill Gray Regional Iceplex and the team is coached by Head Coach George Roll who is in his 6th season with Nazareth and 20th season overall in College Hockey.  The speedy forward has 16 goals and 28 points in 35 games for the Avs and has been one of the top producing forwards as of late.  "Justin had a great start and hit a rough patch mid way through with an injury and some consistency in his play.  Him and I worked very hard to complete his game this season and it has paid off.  He is one of the best skating forwards that I have ever coached and I think he is going to be very dangerous at the next level.  I am looking forward to watching him next season at Nazareth and I wish him and his family luck in the future," said Chris Cerrella.  The Boynton Beach, FL native is looking forward to finishing his junior season on top of the EHL with the Final Four series coming up this weekend.  He has enjoyed his experience with the Jr Avs but he is very excited about the opportunities that wait for him next fall.  "I cant thank the Avalanche organization enough for all the support and opportunity they have given me this season.  Coach Cerrella and Coach Martiniello have been mentors and have helped me grow as a person on and off the ice.  They have instilled some values in me that I look forward to carrying with me in the next chapters of my life.  I would like to send out a special thank you to my family.  They have been by my side and made sacrifices so I could chase my dream of playing college hockey one day.  I have finally reached that goal and I am very excited to be a student next year at Nazareth.  I am also very excited to be to joining the Golden Flyers team next season and can not wait for the next chapter in my life, GO GOLDEN FLYERS," said Hess.  With one weekend left in his junior hockey career opposing teams should expect Hess to empty the tank trying to bring an EHL Championship to Hooksett, NH.
