After a sluggish start to the season the 16U New Hampshire Avalanche Full Season Team has put together a 2 month stretch of great hockey to close out the halfway point of the season. Led by a balanced attack up front, stingy defense and great goaltending the team has won it's last 9 games in a row! The group has been paced by points leaders Conner Murray (35), Parker Mabbett (31), Shane White (29), Mason Drouin (30), Brendon Banks (29) and Kyle Dann (25). Over the 9 game stretch of wins, the defense core has limited the opposition to 0.44 Goals Against Per Game. They have managed that success while managing to contribute on the offensive side of the puck as well. Alex Gagne leads the D core with 21 points, followed by Cable Rizan (17), Andrew Woloszyn (14), Michael O'Brien (14), Connor Lapierre (13) and Joel Stephens (12). In net, the tandem of Jordan Richard and Mathew Gover has been lights out. Both goalies have over .920 save percentages and are allowing less then 2 and half goals per game.

Up next for the 16s is the ECEL Holiday Showcase in Connecticut that will put them up against some top end competition at an event loaded with Prep, Junior and College Scouts.   The team will need to continue their good habits as they look to roll into playoffs.
