EHL Team Signs Strong Core for 2022-23 Season

HOOKSETT, NH -- The New Hampshire Avalanche are pleased to announce the team's first five tender signings in program history. Next fall, the following five players will be joining the Avalanche as they embark on what will be the organization's 6th season in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) -- Nicholas Arend, Kyle Pelletier, Gavin Havens, Daniel McKiernan, and Colin Rosato.

"We are very excited about this class of 5 tenders for next season," said EHL head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "We will be losing 20-22 players to NCAA hockey, so we will need players who can step in and fill some roles for us. We feel these guys can all fill a role for us next season. I look forward to monitoring them for the rest of their current respective years, and making them feel at home with us as we prepare for 2022-23."

As Cerrella mentioned, with the current pace that this year's team is on, he will be challenged with replacing over 3/4 of his roster for next season. Of course the goal of every program in the EHL is to advance players onto the next level, and with 11 NCAA Commitments so far this year, Cerrella and the Avalanche have a chance to raise the bar higher than ever before.

Over the course of the program's first four years in the EHL, they've put together commitment totals of 19, 15, 19, and 18. Now, when you tack on the additional 11 and counting so far this year, the Avalanche are already at 82 total NCAA Commitments in their short history in the league.

Please join us in providing a warm welcome to the five newest members of the Avalanche family, a group of players that may very likely next season, account for the 100th NCAA Commitment in program history.
