HOOKSETT, NH -- The New Hampshire Avalanche are pleased to announce that Gabriel Jodoin has committed to Saint Michael's College for the fall of 2021. The 2000-born native of Canada joined the Avalanche in early February, following the equivalent of a little more than a season spent with the New England Wolves.
"Jodoin was a good addition to our team down the stretch," said EHL head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "He suffered an injury so his game time here was less than we were hoping, but he fit right into our room from the 1st day. Saint Michael’s is getting a player with a good hockey IQ and skill set. I think he is a good addition to the Saint Michael's academic and athletic communities. We are happy for Gabriel and his family."
Combined between his time spent with the Avalanche and the Wolves, Jodoin played in 58 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). Throughout that time, the crafty playmaker recorded 54 points, tallying 13 goals and 41 assists.

While all 18 EHL teams are competitive with each other on the ice, they also do a great job of working to place each player in the settings where they can succeed. The Avalanche and Wolves have worked well as partners in helping players just like Jodoin continue their climb up the ladder to NCAA hockey.
