Mites Jamboree!

All three of the 8U Avalanche Teams traveled to Dover Ice Arena this weekend to participate in the end of season jamboree.

For the first time all season, all 8U Avalanche players were on the ice for games at the same location! What great weekend filled with shutouts, hat tricks and plenty of checkered smiles. Not that we keep score for this group, but we can safely say the Avalanche walked away winners!

The Avalanche played teams from Back Bay, Berlin, Dover, Keene, Manchester, Monarchs, NE Edge, NE Wildcats, NH East and Rochester. These teams brought a physical game that tested our players both offensively and defensively. Players had to work together to be successful and they did just that!

The players have developed so much this season. The passing, rebounding and positioning were just some of the noted improvements. These players have come together and worked together as a team and those results have left players (and coaches) happy on and off the ice.

In a year with smiles hidden in masks and keeping distance, these players and their families made the best out of all situations and turned what was an uncertain time into a great learning experience for everyone. Each ice time, whether a practice or game, was important to the development of these players. Without the parents and grandparents getting the players to the ice, the group of dedicated coaches would not have been able to work with the players.

Great season New Hampshire Avalanche 8U!
