Coaches/Managers/Parents/Players,

Thank you all for your patience as we worked through the new guidelines. Our goal as a hockey community is to get everyone back on the ice in a safe manner.  Please take some time to review all the current Guidelines, Ice Den Rules and additional Covid-19 information.

The major item is that everyone in the organization MUST provide a negative Covid-19 test performed after October 15, 2020 & must be returned to the organization by November 6, 2020.  For those teams that have been in quarantine, please reach out to me directly for further testing guidance.

People who have tested positive in the last 3 months do not have to get another test done.

All tests (positive or negative) must be collected by the Head Coach of each team and returned to the New Hampshire Avalanche hockey program prior to 11/06/2020 to be kept for 30 days. After 30 days, they will be destroyed.

We looked into having a testing station at our rink but the State will not do it.

Coaches/Managers Expectations

Must check in each player and check the player's temperature as they enter the arena.

They must then sign in on the sheet at the front desk where they will confirm that all Covid-19 questions have been answered along with temperatures taken.

The Avalanche will staff this station on weekends so we can confirm all guests are compliant.

Ice Den Rules

Masks must be worn by EVERYONE over the age of 2 entering the facility.  Coaches/Players must wear them everywhere except on the ice.  This includes the locker room.  Parents must wear them the entire time they are in the facility. MASKS ARE REQUIRED ON THE BENCH – BOTH COACHES & PLAYERS unless players are able to maintain 6 feet of separation on the bench. We have extended both the home & away bench seating.

Players can only enter the building 15 minutes before their scheduled start time – no earlier.

Spectators are allowed in the building 5 minutes prior to the scheduled GAME time.  LIMIT:  1 PARENT/GUARDIAN PER PLAYER FOR GAMES.

No Spectators for Practice other than 1 parent per Mite player is allowed

All players 10 & Under come fully dressed other than skates, helmet & gloves. We recommend all other players get as dressed as possible at home.

No congregating in the lobby.

All spectators (including parents) need to be upstairs in the bleacher area for viewing. THERE IS NO VIEWING FROM ICE LEVEL. The warm room is closed until further notice.

The Coaching Staff is the only people standing outside the locker room before games or practices.

Players and parents must leave immediately after their practice/game.

The main entrance is for entering the building only.  Please follow the exit signs when leaving the building.

Maintain social distancing at all times in the facility.
