The NH Avalanche EHL Team is proud to announce that veteran forward Tyler Uravage will continue his academic and athletic career at Div III St. Olaf.  Located in Northfield Minnestoa, St. Olaf plays in the MIAC and they play their home games at the Northfield Ice Arena.  The Oles are coached by Head Coach Mike Eaves who is in his second season on the bench and 16th season overall.  The strong skating forward is 4th on the Avalanche in scoring with 36 points in 37 games and is big part of the Avs offense.  Since Holiday break Uravage has 16pts in 11 games and will be counted on by Coach Cerrella to keep pushing offensively as the Avs look to climb to the top of the EHL at seasons end.  "Uravage is a great young man and a very good hockey player.  He skates well, he is strong on the puck and has a mind for the game.  It has been fun coaching him this season and I am expecting big things from him the rest of this season and at St.Olaf.  Its a great fit for Tyler and I wish him and his family nothing but the best," said Chris Cerrella.  The Hudson, Pa native knows what the rest of this season means and he will be looking to finish his last season of junior hockey on a high note.  Uravage is excited about the playoff run with the Avs and is looking forward to the opportunities on the ice and in the classroom at St. Olaf.  " I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates I have had over the years for their support throughout my hockey career.  Furthermore, a special thanks to the Avalanche organization for preparing me to take a step to the next level.  Head Coach Chris Cerrella and Assistant Coach Mario Martiniellon are already proving a prolific start to the new organization and I could not thank them both enough.   Finally, a special thank you to my Dad and Nicole Theodore, without either of you none of this would be possible.  I am very excited to join the Ole community both academically and athletically. Roll Oles," said Uravage.  This commitment gives the first year Avs a very impressive 16 NCAA college hockey placements proving that this has become the best path to college hockey in the New Hampshire area.  We are not finished either please stay tuned for more college hockey announcements coming soon.  #ROLLAVSROLL
