Hooksett NH - 1/25/18

The 16U Full Season team headed into the week with a lone game on the schedule versus the Islanders Hockey Club of the USPHL.  This would be a tough test as the Islanders currently sit 2nd in the North division of that league.  As this Avalanche team has done so often, they showed up to play and rose to the challenge.  The group jumped out to an early lead on goals from Baxter Kimball, Cable Rizan and Conner Murray.  The rest of the game was back and forth with another goal by Conner Murray and Alex Gagne.  Rookie goaltender Mathew Gover continued his strong play in net and helped guide the Avs to a 5-3 win. Next up the team travels up to Maine for 2 against the Maine Moose
