JR AVS ADVANCE COACH JUSTIN SORYAL TO MIDGET U18 AND U16 HEAD COACH FOR 2018 SEASON

The NH Jr Avalanche is proud to announce that Midget Director Justin Soryal will add to his role for the 2018 season and will be the Head Coach of both the Tier 1 18U and 16U teams for the 2018-19 season.  Soryal is in his fifth year coaching; going into his third season with the Jr Avs organization; and has helped put the Avs Midget program on the map.  The Newmarket, Ontario native played four seasons in the OHL and then spent five seasons playing in the AHL as part of the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes franchises.  Along with Soryal will be the EHL Junior Head Coach, Chris Cerrella, who will be an Assistant Coach at the 18U level and Coach Brian Saucier who will be an Assistant for the Midget program as well as the Avs Scouting Director.

The Jr Avs Midget program has their own private locker room facility with full-time coaches as well as a full-time strength coach and continue to add important resources to give their players the tools needed for success.  There will also be the addition of an online schooling option with a classroom for players, as well as the option for players to attend Bishop Brady HS, a private school located just miles away from the Avs home rink, the Ice Den Arena.  The NH Jr Avalanche is the only program in the state of NH to have Tier 1 youth and offers families from the youth level to Junior hockey all under one roof.  The Avs are now set up to have the ultimate path to college hockey for all their players for years to come.
