The NH Jr Avalanche have added another players to their college commitment list and also added a second NESCAC commitment  for the 2018-19 season. Newly acquired defenseman Connor Kucharski will sharpen his skills and defensive play this season with the Jr Avs before going off to Williams College in the NESCAC Div 3 College Hockey Conference. The smooth skating Kucharski spent last season with Pittsburgh Elite U18 in the Tier 1 Elite League and chose a year of junior hockey to prepare for freshman year of college. “Connor is a good skating and good puck moving Dman. Doing a year with us will give him that development he will need to prepare for hockey in the NESCAC. Williams is not only a top notch academic school but they also have a very good Div 3 program. Connor has not only put the time in on the ice but even more importantly in the classroom,” said Chris Cerrella. Kucharski will hit the ice this weekend for the Jr Avs and the Solon OH native is excited to get under way. “I’m extremely excited to become a part of the Williams family next year. To study at a school with that kind of reputation and to play on a team that consistently is at the top of the Nescac is a blessing. I’m ready to get to work this year with the Avalanche to develop both on and off the ice and prepare myself to become a big minutes player as soon as I step on the ice in Williamstown” said Kucharski. Stay tuned as the NH Jr Avalanche will be announcing more college placements in the upcoming weeks.
