Avalanche Add Saucier To Coaching Staff!

The NH Avalanche are excited to announce the Brian Saucier is being added as the Head Coach of the U15 Tier 1 Team as well as an assistant coach of the U18 Full Season Team. Brian will also help recruit for the U16, U18 and EHL Premier Teams! We are very excited to add a coach with Brian's background and experience to what is already an impressive coaching lineup!

BIO

Brian comes to the NH Avalanche organization with over 35 years of playing and coaching experience. Most recently, Brian was head coach for NHIAA D1 Bishop Brady High School and helped guide the team to back-to-back playoff appearances.  Some of Brian’s other recent coaching experience includes time with SS U18 Monarchs Premier & FS U19 Elite. He also teaches at summer skill camps annually. Brian has a passion for the game of hockey and is honored to help teach and develop the next generation of players.

 

Brian’s hockey roots come from his early days in Berlin, NH where he learned from some of the best coaches and players in the state. By the time Brian entered the 8th grade, he was already playing for the Berlin HS JV team.  Brian’s family relocated to Concord in 1984 and that’s when he joined the Bishop Brady community as a freshman.  Brian played varsity and logged significant ice time all four years under highly respected Coach Bud Luckern. 

 

After high school, Brian played one year of junior hockey before decided to join the U.S. Marines.  He served from 1990-1994 and did two tours of duty in the Gulf War.  Brian then went on to earn an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering from NHCTC and a Bachelor Degree in Technical Management from SNHU. Today, Brian is a Director, Electrical Engineering for Electronics for Imaging (EFI) located in Meredith, NH.
