Puckstoppers

Puckstoppers Goaltending has been teaching goalies in New England for nearly 35 years.  Our engineered approach and progressive improvement model is based upon Rob’s education as an engineer and manufacturing background.  We view each goalie as a custom job.  Our boutique and personalized approach is what separates us from the rest.  Each goalie has certain individual strengths and weaknesses that require different fixes.

Our format

During the season we do one on one private lessons (either half hour or hour in length).  We feel this is the best way to have a goalie develop to their full potential.  Our flexible teaching method allows us to address a weakness or problem right away.  For example if your goalie had a glove problem over the weekend you will not have to wait until we cover gloves in a typical teaching system.  We can address it at your next lesson.  This results in improved confidence and better performance.  This is what our continuous improvement model is all about.

Experience

Rob has instructed at every level possible in the NCAA from Men’s and Women’s D1 to D3.  He has also worked with several teams that have gone to the NCAA tourney.  His goalies have won 8 NCAA titles over the last 8 years and he has had 9 Prep school goalie All-Stars in the last 11 years.

Total Goalie Experience

Pucsktoppers Goaltending also works to make well rounded goalies by working on all pillars of their game through the Sports Science Solutions sports institute www.sportssciencesolutions.us.  Through mental, off-ice and nutritional training goalies can develop top their fullest potential.  We look forward to working with you this upcoming season.
